Odoo vs. Bitrix24: ERP or CRM platform?
Odoo Enterprise is an ERP that runs sales, accounting, inventory and manufacturing in one system; Bitrix24 is a CRM and collaboration platform with strong tasks, projects and communication, but no financial accounting. If you move goods or do your own bookkeeping, you end up with Odoo; if you mainly organise sales and the team, Bitrix24 often gets you there faster and cheaper.
The two are often compared, but they solve different problems. Odoo is an ERP: quote, order, delivery, invoice and journal entry all hang off the same records. Bitrix24 comes from collaboration: CRM, tasks, projects, chat, video and files in one tool. A "—" for Bitrix24 therefore usually means "not its purpose", not "done badly". Pricing and hosting: what Bitrix24 does differently
Bitrix24 does not charge per user but a fixed price per plan with a user limit. According to the pricing page (October 2026, billed annually): Basic 49 euros a month for 5 users, Standard 99 euros for 50 users, Professional 199 euros for 100 users, Enterprise from 399 euros for 250 users. There is also a free plan with CRM, tasks, calendar and chat and video calls.
Odoo Enterprise, by contrast, is billed per user per month. If ten people need the CRM, you pay ten licences with Odoo and one plan with Bitrix24. In return Odoo gives you accounting, inventory and manufacturing, which Bitrix24 does not have. What an Odoo implementation costs overall is on our Odoo pricing page.
On hosting, for Bitrix24 accounts with a .de address the vendor states that data is held in the EU, in Frankfurt with Amazon Web Services. If you want the data in-house, both systems can run on your own server: Bitrix24 with its on-premise edition, Odoo with Community or Enterprise self-hosted.

Odoo Enterprise fits if …
- goods move: inventory, purchasing, shipping or manufacturing are part of daily work,
- invoices should be posted and sent to the tax advisor via DATEV export,
- from 2027, e-invoices in XRechnung or ZUGFeRD format must come out of the system,
- quote, order, delivery and invoice should hang off one record without media breaks.
Bitrix24 fits if …
- the main goal is organising sales, tasks and team communication,
- accounting stays with the tax advisor and there is no inventory to run,
- a fixed monthly price for the whole team matters more than per-head billing,
- you want to start without budget: the free plan is enough to try it on the real business.
Frequently asked questions: Odoo Enterprise vs. Bitrix24
Which is better: Odoo or Bitrix24?
It depends on what you want to organise. For sales, tasks and team communication, Bitrix24 is often set up faster and is predictable at a flat price. As soon as inventory, purchasing, manufacturing or your own accounting come into play, there is hardly a way around an ERP like Odoo.
Can Bitrix24 replace an ERP?
No. Bitrix24 creates quotes and invoices and has simple stock management, but no financial accounting, no DATEV export and no manufacturing. For a service business without inventory that is often enough; for a business with goods flow it is not.
Can Odoo and Bitrix24 be combined?
Yes, for example Bitrix24 for sales and collaboration and Odoo for orders, inventory and accounting, connected via the APIs of both systems or via n8n. That pays off when a team already works in Bitrix24. If you start from scratch, one system is usually simpler.
What does Bitrix24 cost compared to Odoo?
Bitrix24 bills a flat price per plan, with a user limit per plan, and has a free entry tier. Odoo Enterprise is billed per user per month, plus the implementation. For large teams needing few features Bitrix24 is often cheaper; for few users with ERP needs Odoo pays off. Current prices are on each vendor's site.
